Bank of India HCMC, Vietnam is seeking a qualified IT Staff to oversee its technology operations, including Set up local Data Server and maintenance, application development and system maintenance other IT related projects implementation/Statistical and Regulatory reporting tools as may be directed by local regulator from time to time.
Candidates should possess the following minimum credentials:
Job Responsibilities
1. Planning
- Planning the personal work schedule: weekly / monthly / yearly as assignment of duties from Deputy General Director and General Director.
- Report performance to Deputy General Director and General Director or any other Person in Charge as may be directed by General Director from time to time.
2. Perform the particular tasks
- Install-repair, check and take over product/service in accordance with process before operating officially.
- Support users in checking, detecting and repairing fault/problem in process of manipulation of users
- Examine, improve available products/services/Application on basis of analysis from request of staff/departments, analyse designs of system and find the solution with the help of Head Office IT team or local IT consultant.
- Answer question, instructions for use concerning to application software such as Core Banking, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, SMS Banking …
- Complete, maintain and update constantly documents in which reckon product codes in all professional knowledge, status of faults in Core banking system.
- Support departments of professional knowledge in writing documents of instructions or attend training courses of using new products/services as requested.
- Support end-of-day transactions on duty in order to ensure accomplishment of all transactions before running End of Day.
- Plan assigned jobs by yourself and report to higher level weekly.
3. Others
- Support units/departments in using application software.
- Assemble information from units/departments and propose ideas in order to improve and enhance quality of application programs at BOI HCMC.
- Communicate with IT team at Mumbai/Singapore/State Bank of Vietnam, IT Department in order to implement/resolve IT related projects/issues
- Carry out other jobs assigned by higher authorities

Job Requirements
1. Knowledge, Work experience
- Graduate from college upward with major in: Information Technology, Economics, Finance-Banking
- Knowledge of professional knowledge and banking application software, especially Core Banking system
- At least 5 year-experience
- English: TOEIC above scoring or equivalent 600, fluency of specialized English as a priority.
2. Skills
- Communication skills, work independently or work in team
- Presentation skills
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage time
- Ability to connect with various departments in order to understand their It related issues and resolve it timely.
