Ban Phuc Nickel Mines is looking for a Junior Environment Officer with Environmental experience. Reporting to the Environment Coordinator. The successful position role will include:
Environment monitoring
• Provide monitoring as plan with surface water, groundwater, meteorology, hydrology.
• Carry out field monitoring of basic environmental indicators, as planned or upon request.
• Perform analysis of environmental indicators at the field laboratory.
• Record, update and collected monitoring data to the server/ environmental database.
• Regularly monitor point and environment monitoring station, monitoring equipment to ensure all everything always in good condition to use.
Environment compliance
• Coordinates with other departments in the preparation of environmental documents and legal procedures for obtaining contsruction and mining permits.
• Waste management including: sorting, storing and transporting waste (domestic, industrial);
Environment rehabilitation
• Carry out environmental rehabilitation activities as planned.
• Supervise and manage unskilled labor to carry out environmental rehabilitation activities on the construction.
• Management of equipment and supplies for rehabilitation activities.
• Management of nurseries and topsoil storage areas.
Community activities
• Support consultancy on the implementation of socio-economic survey programs in the project area.
• Organizations to coordinate environmental meetings with local, regional.
• Implements information education campaign (IEC) programs for staff awareness and reinforces the company’s commitment to the sustainable development of the mine using applicable local and international standards which can be delivered to the community for understanding.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc
To be successful in this role you should possess:
• College/ university graduate and above, preferably in Environment, Chemistry, Mining and Geology.
• 1-3 years of experience in the field of environment and sustainability development, preferably candidates with work experience in the field of environmental consulting.
• Knowledgeable on environmental monitoring and analysis, Laboratory management.
• Diligent, detailed-minded, proactive.

• Attractive salary range: from $500 to $700.
• Annual leave: 12 days/ year.
• The employee will also be provided with Social Insurance, healthcare and worker compensation insurance, apart from other benefit.

• The employee will work a roster as set out by the Company. When on site the employee will be provided with furnished accommodation plus meals and laundry services. The Company provide scheduled commutation between the mine site & Hanoi.
