Junior Product Developer

Job Summary The Junior Product Development role provides support to the Product Development team in all areas, from product concept through commercialization. This position will also provide administrative assistance in the execution of defined strategies and objectives for company & account growth initiatives. Duties/Job Function: • Interacts with USA PD team to understand product line direction for new programs and helps execute requirements with factories. • Track calendar to ensure timelines are met. • Create product documentation using Centric PLM system and other tools to communicate product expectations to manufacturing partners. Continue to manage product development process via PLM throughout the product lifecycle. • Use time management and organizational skills to keep clear record of all product and component documentation and filing. • Support Product development team with accurate, timely, and professional communication. • Review all product samples prior to sending to US team against product documentation providing feedback to factory and US team. • Visit factories to monitor product/samples during all stages of development and ensuring all product specifications and Goldbug processes are being met. • Review and provide comments for all top of production samples. • Assist with additional tasks, including administrative duties and special projects, when applicable. • In addition to these functions, employees may be required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required by the immediate manager or supervisor.

• High level of organization to facilitate multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrate critical & creative thinking. • Ability to quickly problem solve, be self-motivated, and have a strong sense of urgency. • Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively cross-functionally. • Flexibility and availability to take early morning or evening calls with overseas teams. • Ability to effectively communicate with overseas teams with language barrier. • Actively engage in and use the tools available to you including PLM. • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Illustrator & PLM. • University Degree preferably in Textiles or related subjects. • 2-5 years + related experience required. • Able to work in both office and manufacturing environments. • Ability to travel domestically. • Good command of written and spoken Vietnamese and English language skills.
