1. Role Purpose

The Supply Chain Finance Business Partner acts as the key financial advisor to the Supply Chain leadership team, ensuring sound financial management, accurate performance analysis, and data-driven decision-making across manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and planning operations. This role bridges Finance and Operations, driving profitability, cost efficiency, and working capital optimization for MML’s end-to-end supply chain.

2. Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for Supply Chain functions (Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, and Planning).

• Monitor and analyze supply chain cost performance (COGS, conversion cost, distribution cost, inventory holding, and waste).

• Develop financial models to assess scenarios, sensitivity, and cost optimization initiatives.

• Support the monthly S&OP cycle with cost implications, production efficiency, and material usage insights.

Business Partnering

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to Supply Chain leadership to support strategic and operational decisions.

• Collaborate with Operations, Production, and Procurement teams to evaluate make-or-buy, capacity, sourcing, and route-to-market strategies.

• Challenge assumptions and ensure business cases (CAPEX, OPEX, productivity projects) meet financial targets and ROI expectations.

• Influence key stakeholders to drive cost consciousness and performance accountability across the supply chain.

Performance Management

• Prepare monthly performance reviews, variance analysis, and KPI dashboards for Supply Chain management and Finance leadership.

• Track savings and cost reduction initiatives; validate and report financial benefits.

• Monitor inventory levels and working capital, ensuring effective control over aged and obsolete stock.

• Ensure accurate accruals and provisions for Supply Chain cost centers.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company accounting standards, internal control policies, and audit requirements.

• Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting, accuracy, and process automation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master’s or CPA/ACCA preferred.

• Minimum 3 years in FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, or Supply Chain Finance roles (preferably in FMCG or Manufacturing).

• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, SAP/ERP systems, Power BI, and advanced Excel.

• Solid understanding of supply chain operations, cost drivers, and financial metrics (COGS, inventory, logistics cost).

• Excellent analytical, communication, and influencing skills; able to work cross-functionally and manage stakeholders.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
