Job Description

Role Purpose:
The Vietnam Foodservice Business is identified as one key pillars of growth for Fonterra Brands Vietnam. Key accounts make up over 50% of the Vietnam Foodservices business thus management of these accounts to generate volume and value growth is crucial to meeting the company target.

Some of the key areas you would own include:
• Identify growth opportunities in each key account through store assessment or customer insights
• Develop and execute strategies and action plans to grow Fonterra market share in these accounts either through range selling, demand creation or consumption building initiatives.
• Assisting the customer in kitchen or manufacturing efficiencies and provide customers with industry trends and marketing insights.
• Develop promotions and consumption-building programs for the key accounts.
• Ensure Insights are gathered and provided to the Foodservice Director and the Channel Development team.
• Develop Demand Creation solutions in conjunction with the Channel and Technical Teams to meet customer needs.
• Accountable for conducting trade check including store visits, identify needs and competitive products and perform check on launched products and in-store collaterals.
• Gain a deep understanding of customer needs, strategies, market insights, and business drivers and use these to develop and execute clear Account plans / Customer Business Plan / Join Business Plan.
• Build and maintain relationships with key influencers, decision makers and approvers within the customer’s organisation to create sustainable growth and long-term partnerships.
• Negotiate value propositions and solution options with customers to maximise the account potential to achieve targeted depth (share of wallet in dairy category) with the right target product mix.
• Monitor competitor activity (those of the customer and of Fonterra) and use competitor intelligence to develop customer plans
• Implement formalized visit routing to all assigned KAs in line with the regional KA management best practice.
• Ensure customer service levels are achieved by the Distributor by monitoring of delivery service levels to the assigned Key Accounts and implementing improvements and resolving any issues via the Sales Execution Team.

Job Requirements

What we are looking for:
• University graduate in any related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Sales and Business Development experience with at least 3 years in Key Account Management within the Food Service industry.
• Experience as a key ingredient supplier to OEM and Industrial Channel or as a key dairy ingredient competitor to Foodservice customers strongly preferred
• Ability to develop and implement customer strategic business plan
• Specific technical knowledge and skill of OEM and Manufacturers channel dairy product application.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and critical thinking skills
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills, able to develop promotional, launch and business plans.
• An agile learner, able to think out of the box and receptive to change.
• Basic cooking & baking skills is an added advantage.
• Fluent in spoken and written Vietnamese and English.
• Good MS Excel and Power-point presentation skills.
