Position Title: Tool & Maintenance Engineerr
Reports to: Senior Tool & Maintenance Leader
Location: Ha Nam (Dong Van 2 Industrial Zone, Duy Tien, Ha Nam)
Scope of Position
Take responsibility for production machine maintenance creation and coordinate with others to meet Gentherm’s standard of safety, quality and department’s missions.

Quality issue & improvement
PM activity
Responsibilities
• Establish the work schedule and monitor the daily performance of technicians.
• Establish the preventive maintenance program for tooling, machines & assembly lines. Implement
the peoridic maintenance.
• Produce the tools, fixtures, jig and other accessories which required by other sections of production department and/or other departments.
• Take lead on 5S, Kaizen program.Participate on Lean & Six sigma.
• Play the key role in continuous improvement activities.
• Play key role in cost saving program of production department.
• Promote and follow safety regulations
PRIOR TO SHIFT START AND DURING SHIFT
• Review the tool shop logbook, maintenance logbook and follow up any issues from previous shift.
• Attend to daily and quality production meeting to take support action accordingly.
• Record shift to shift logbook any issue.
• Walk-through of work area to ensure all machine, system in good conditions and define the improvement areas.

Experience:
2 years+ in Tools or equivelent functions
3 years+ in factory operation
Good knowledge in HSE
Competencies:
Skills : Excellent skills in AutoCAD, Solid Work and other design software. Very good in MS software,
Personality : Clear thinker, Innovative, Good communicator, Assertive, Drive, Responsible
Must adopt a practical approach towards work
Must be methodical
High level of problem solving skills
Education:
Bachelor in electrical or mechanical
2 years+ in Tools or equivelent functions
3 years+ in factory operation
