JOB SUMMARY:

Ensure assembly processes achieve optimal efficiency, quality, and cost through design, implementation, and continuous improvement and Factory layout update.

MAIN DUTIES:

1. Process Design & Setup

• Analyze product and technical requirements to develop assembly processes.

• Design assembly line layout, determine necessary equipment, jigs, and fixtures

• Establish standard operating procedures (SOP), cycle time, and line balancing.

2. Process Management & Improvement

• Monitor line performance (OEE, takt time, scrap rate).

• Analyze root causes of defects and propose solutions to reduce waste and increase 35%

productivity.

• Execute Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma projects to optimize cost and quality.

3. Production Support

• Train operators on standard processes and work instructions.

• Provide technical support for troubleshooting on the assembly line. 20%

• Coordinate with IQC, SQA, R&D and Maintenance teams to ensure quality and

equipment stability.

4. Technology Implementation

• Evaluate and propose automation, robotics, or new equipment. 15%

• Conduct trials and validate processes before mass production.

5. Reporting & Data Analysis

• Collect production data from assembly lines (OEE, cycle time, scrap rate).

• Analyze performance and quality trends to identify improvement opportunities. 10%

• Prepare periodic reports for management and propose optimization solutions.

6. Factory Layout Update

• Maintain accurate factory layout drawings and update them when there are

changes in production lines or equipment.

• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure proper arrangement, compliance 5%

with safety standards, and optimized production flow.

• Use design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to edit and store layout drawings.

• Propose layout improvements to enhance space utilization and reduce waste.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related fields.

Experience

• 3~ 5 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly line setup, or process improvement.

• Understanding in manufacturing (painting, injection, assembly helmet..) is not requirement but advance.

• Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma principles, kanban, 7QC tools

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks for layout and fixture design.

• Familiar with data analysis tools (Excel, Power point).

• Knowledge of OEE, takt time, cycle time calculation automation technology, design jig, fixture ....
