Job Description
Purpose of this position:
The Legal Specialist of Vietnam would be directly report to the Head of Legal (BKK) and the Country General Director (Vietnam). The Legal Specialist is ultimately responsible for all legal affairs in Vietnam and will also support the Head of Legal (BKK) and the Country General Director (Vietnam) with regional/global projects, initiatives or other requests, as instructed, from time to time.
Responsible to provide legal advice and provide update on laws and regulations related to the Company's business development and operations (ERC, Permits, Licenses, EIA, etc.) and to coordinate with relevant parties to operate in accordance with the law of Vietnam.
Act as a Legal Advisor for B.Grimm Vietnam and subsidiaries and coordinate with external advisors for procurement of legal service to ensure overall legal documents of company in compliance with law and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for general counselling/ providing advice on Vietnam legal matters.
• Drafting and reviewing of related contracts in relation to the Company’s business development and operation.
• Conduct and supervise works relating to Company registration including legal administrative works
• Responsible to procure any Permits, Licenses and Environmental impact assessment (EIA) on time
• Provide clarification/ interpretation on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization.
• Regularly update Vietnamese Laws, Rules & Regulations and share with Country General Director (Vietnam) and related departments the source and reference for such related regulations, notifications and laws.
• Conduct legal analysis and researching legal matters as appropriate on a case-by-case basis
• Provide legal support for communities relation activities
• Other legal related matters as assigned by the Country General Director (Vietnam)

Job Requirements
Qualification:
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Laws
- Professional Experience:
• Experience in an international law firm or a reputable Vietnamese law firm
• Having very good knowledges of Vietnamese Laws, Rules & Regulations and know source for its procurement/monitoring
• Understand the process to obtain Permits & Licenses and approval of EIA and responsible to procure Permits, Licenses and EIA on time
• Ability to clarification/ interpretation on legal language both verbal and writing
• The Legal Specialist shall have an up-to-date and sufficient knowledge from legal perspective to:
- Understand the impacts to the Company’s business development and operation of any new or changes in laws, rules & regulations;
- Bridge and collaboration for sufficient communicate between the Company’s legal advisors and BGP project teams; and
- Provide counselling or advice to BGP operating teams as needed.
- Preferred Knowledge:
• Good connection & Networking with Government Officer & Partners
- Required Skill:
• Advanced / fluent English both verbal and written.
• Excellent Communication Skill
Good in Fact Finding and Analytical Approach Skill

• Working day: Mon – Fri (5 days/week)
