Lead AI Engineer (LLM, Vision & Multimodal AI)

We are seeking a Lead AI Engineer to spearhead the development of large-scale AI systems and define the next generation of intelligent, human-centered products. In this role, you will take ownership of designing, training, and deploying cutting-edge Large Language Models (LLMs), Vision-Language Models (VLMs), and Generative AI solutions that create measurable business and user impact.

Depending on your expertise, you will lead initiatives in one of the following areas:

Track 1 – Vision & Multimodal AI

• Design, train, and evaluate Vision-Language Models (VLMs) optimized for practical, high-impact use cases.

• Build robust and scalable data and model pipelines, ensuring reproducibility and strong benchmark performance.

• Lead the research and deployment of visual understanding systems such as face liveness detection and anti-spoofing.

• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and autonomy within the AI team.

Track 2 – Generative AI & LLM Systems

• Architect and deliver end-to-end generative AI solutions leveraging state-of-the-art foundation models (e.g., GPT, Claude, Llama, Mistral).

• Build and scale production-grade AI applications — including conversational agents, generative content systems, and intelligent automation platforms.

• Develop and optimize LLM fine-tuning pipelines, prompt engineering workflows, retrieval augmented generation (RAG), and alignment techniques.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — including ML engineers, data scientists, and product leaders — to integrate AI seamlessly into products.

• Establish and maintain MLOps best practices for AI lifecycle management: model versioning, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

• Provide strategic and technical leadership in emerging generative AI frameworks and methodologies.

• Continuously evaluate and experiment with new research, architectures, and open-source models to sustain innovation and efficiency.

• Excercise responsible AI practices, ensuring fairness, privacy, transparency, and safety in all systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related disciplines.

• 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML, with at least 3 years of deep specialization in one of the following domains:

o Computer Vision / Multimodal AI (e.g., face recognition, anti-spoofing, VLMs, or generative vision models), OR

o Large Language Models / Generative AI (e.g., transformer- based LLMs, conversational AI, or RAG systems).

• Advanced proficiency in Python, with strong experience using frameworks such as PyTorch, HuggingFace Transformers, LangChain, or equivalents.

• Hands-on experience deploying AI systems at scale using AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Recognized contributions to AI research or competitive achievements (e.g., Kaggle, open-source projects).

• Proven success in building and shipping production AI systems with large user impact.

• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide

teams through complex AI initiatives.
