The Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist is responsible for designing and implementing training and development programs that are aligned with SOA's strategy and business goals and fostering a learning culture within the organization.
The role of L&D Specialist is crucial in enhancing the knowledge, skills, and performance of employees, ultimately contributing to the overall success of the company. The L&D Specialist is in charge of assessing training needs, designing and implementing learning strategies, delivering training programs, and evaluating their effectiveness. S/he will closely collaborate with various stakeholders, such as HR Manager and BUDs, to identify and address training gaps.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assessing training and development needs:
Conducting assessments and identifying training gaps to ensure that learning initiatives align with the Company's strategic goals and address skill deficiencies.
- Developing training programs:
Designing and creating training modules, courses, and materials based on identified needs and objectives.
- Delivering training sessions:
Conducting workshops, seminars, and other training sessions to transfer knowledge and enhance skills of employees.
- Managing training budgets:
Creating and allocating budgets for training initiatives, ensuring cost-effective delivery of programs.
- Coordinating training logistics:
Organizing training venues, equipment, and necessary resources to facilitate smooth training delivery.
- Evaluating training effectiveness:
Assessing the impact and effectiveness of training programs through evaluations and feedback mechanisms.
- Collaborating with stakeholders:
Working closely with HRM, BUD, and other SOA's leaders to address specific training needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Researching industry best practices:
Staying updated with the latest advancements and trends in training and development to enhance program effectiveness.
- Managing relationships with external vendors:
Collaborating with external training providers to deliver specialized programs.
- Implementing technology-based learning solutions:
Introducing and utilizing e-learning platforms, learning management systems, and other digital tools to support and enhance training initiatives.
