Legal Advisor

We are looking for a proactive and business-minded Legal Advisor to join our Vietnam team and support our regional growth. The Legal Advisor ensures that the organization operates within the law government regulations. This role involves developing and overseeing compliance reviews, advising on legal risks, and fostering a culture of ethical conduct.

Job Description:

Legal Compliance:

- Ensure the company’s operations, marketing, and commercial activities comply with Vietnamese laws and regulations, especially in cosmetics, advertising, e-commerce, labor, and consumer protection.

- Monitor and update changes in local laws and advise management accordingly.

Contracts & Documentation:

- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements (distribution, supply, partnership, employment, service, etc.).

- Support contract management, record keeping, and internal approval processe

Regulatory Affairs:

- Liaise with government authorities and external counsel regarding product registration, import/export compliance, and licenses required for cosmetics in Vietnam

- Coordinate with regulatory teams in China and Vietnam to ensure product labeling and marketing claims meet legal standards.

Corporate Governance

- Assist with compliance documentation, policies, and internal legal training.

Advisory Support:

- Provide legal advice to business units (marketing, Commercial, HR, Backend, etc.) on daily operations and strategic projects.

- Support cross-border transactions and communications with the Headquarter Legal team.

- Education: Bachelor's degree majoring in Law; Lawyer Practicing Certificate

- 3–6 years of experience in legal practice, ideally with exposure to FMCG, cosmetics, ecommerce or retail industries.

- Knowledge: Understanding of cosmetics/ ecommerce industry shall be plus. Solid knowledge of Vietnamese commercial, labor, and regulatory laws.

- Skills: Good English proficiency (all 4 skills, especially speaking and writing shall be required)

- Good Mandarin is a big plus
