This attractive opportunity is open for inhouse and law firm legal professionals who are seeking an inhouse role within renewables business based in Danang
Description
* Handle all legal related matters throughout project development, construction, and operational phase;
* Provide legal support for investment, greenfield development, M&A of renewable projects within SEA with strong focus on Vietnam;
* Lead all legal, contractual and compliance related matters on group platform level;
* Lead legal due diligence and reviews on PPA agreements, JV contracts, JDA, EPC, maintenance, and service agreements, SPA, SHA, etc.;
* Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts;
* Manage liaison with local Vietnamese lenders, international commercial lenders and ECAs, etc.;
* Provide support on licensing and permit related issues;
* Identify risk and compliance related issues and provide mitigation measures;
Profile
* Higher Law degree from a recognised university and admitted to Vietnam bar
* 10+ year relevant working experience within the energy/infrastructure/renewables sector in Vietnam, both inhouse or/and within a reputable law firm;
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills;
* Strong verbal and written English and Vietnamese;
