Legal Senior Associate

- Provide legal services to clients in investment, corporate, labor, M&A, commerce, customs, IP, litigation, Personal Data Protection;

- Conduct legal research and analysis of scenarios and alternatives of business models and possibilities for existing and potential clients to invest in VN;

- Take responsibility to draft and review the legality of legal service proposals, contracts, appendices, and legal opinions as assigned by the Manager;

- Assist Manager and manage team in M&A projects (preliminary advisory, negotiation involvement, legal due diligence, documentation preparation, M&A registration and license update);

- Conduct direct meetings with clients and other third parties as assigned by the Manager;

- Advise and implement legal registrations/establishments/investment procedures for our clients;

- Supervise, train, and directly manage junior colleagues to ensure projects are delivered in a timely and efficient manner;

- Prepare and deliver presentations as required and keep company updated on new laws;

- Prepare articles for our investment magazines and Vietnam briefings;

- Carry out other ad-hoc duties upon Manager’s requirements.

- Year of experience: 4-5 years

- Minimum education level: Bachelor of Law

- Have sufficient knowledge and experience in legal consultancy related to Corporate & Investment, M&A, labor (especially labor regulations to expatriates, labor dispute), Contractual services, IP, Commerce, Litigation and other compliances of foreign businesses in Vietnam.

- Ability to work independently and team work under high pressure.

- Good at legal analysis and legal research skills.

- Team player with excellent communication skills and ability to interface effectively at all levels within and outside the company.

- Strong negotiating skills, oral and written communications skills in English.

- High sense of responsibility, enthusiastic, detail-oriented and honest and ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

- Flexibility, initiative and good problem-solving abilities

- Working experience in law firm and foreign consulting firms is an asset;

- Lawyer Practicing Certificate is a plus.
