Mô tả công việc
1. Responsible for the Logistics department and manage a team of 2 persons who are handling Sea freight and Air freight (Door to Door)
• Sea Freight:
- Oversee and check the weekly shipping plan to get the best freight quotes and vessel schedules.
- Ensure relevant departments are updated on the Estimated Time of Departure (ETD) and Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA).
- Approve and prepare export documents like invoices, packing lists, and delivery orders.
- Supervise container loading at the bonded warehouse.
• Air Freight:
- Monitor the process of receiving quote requests and updating them in the Air Tracking Report.
- Check and approve air freight quotes from agents to ensure the best rates.
- Ensure bookings with agents are made only after customer payment is confirmed.
- Follow up on shipment progress and ensure ETD/ETA, AWB number, and tracking links are continuously updated for the Sales/CS team.
- Review overseas agent invoices carefully and arrange payments for duty fees, VAT, and agent charges.
2. Documentation:
- Ensure shipping documents are prepared accurately and completely.
- Approve special documents such as the Lacey Act, TSCA, and POA before sending them to the relevant parties.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of necessary documents to the forwarder for customs declaration.
3. Bonded Warehouse:
- Approve and schedule inbound shipments to the bonded warehouse monthly.
- Supervise the preparation of documents for each supplier.
- Coordinate with the bonded warehouse customs team and suppliers for declaration and clearance.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in quantity, package name, number of packages, or SKUs.
4. Other Tasks
- Support the Production Director in monitoring inventory levels in the UK and US warehouses to maintain adequate stock.
- Ensure shipping marks are correct before container loading.
- Manage the logistics calendar and notify the team of deadlines.
- Negotiate Logistics cost.
Yêu cầu công việc
Experience:
• 7 years or more experience in Logistics and Supply Chain management.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Furniture industry.
• Working experience with US, UK or Europe based companies is a PLUS.
• Have experience negotiating with various inter departments, suppliers, forwarders, vendors…
• Experience in working with government authorities for necessary paperwork is a PLUS.
• Experience in the use of BrightPearl & ASANA Software (A plus but not essential as training can be provided).
Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent communication skills in English and Vietnamese. Fluent English – verbal and written is a MUST.
• Able to manage a team of 2 by leading, coaching and giving the right guidelines.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel must be excellent).
• Excellent organizational skills – Be able to self-motivate and have effective time management.
• Keen on working for high end furniture/ home décor brand.
• Excited to work for a small but growing company in District 2, Thao Dien.
• Dynamic and enthusiastic personality.
• Able to go to Binh Duong approximately 4 times per month.
• As we have our office in the UK, some flexibility is required with the different time zones. Please be able to communicate sometimes during UK business hours.
