Logistics Coordinator

JOB SCOPE:

Work closely with head office, shippers, clients, service providers (banks, shipping lines, warehouses, forwarders, and local agents, brokers) to ensure the execution of shipments/deliveries from origins to destination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Pre-check of the contract received from trade, work with the trader for any commercial issues.

• Follow up the Pre-shipment sample status and update dispatch details in systems.

• Send shipping instructions to shippers.

• Follow up/ Do bookings with shipping lines and update shipping data in systems.

• Check / Approve the packing types (required bag marks/tags).

• Check/ Approve the shipping documents and file properly the communication, shipping documents, entries in systems.

• Create the purchase/sales invoices, debit/credit note and commission in systems.

• Check the invoices received from service providers (forwarding agent, shipping line, etc.) and register in systems for approval.

• Track&Trace shipments weekly and update to customers.

• Announce the coffee certificates (RFA, UTZ, etcc...) in portals.

• Work with shipping line, forwarder, insurance company to solve problems, claims (if any).

• Support Trade Admin team when required.

• Education: University graduate (Major in Foreign Trade/ Logistics/ Transportation Management is a plus).

• Experience: At least two years’ working experience is compulsory. Experience in the Green Coffee Industry is a plus.

• Communication: English and Vietnamese

• Computers: Expertise in Microsoft Office, experience in Navision, Quickbase systems and advanced excel is a plus; the ability to learn new resource planning systems.

• Other skills: Must be detail-oriented and accurate. Ability to do multi-tasks, have a can-do attitude, good sense of organization, self-discipline and team player.
