Logistics Coordinator

Job Purpose:

Coordinate and manage logistics activities to ensure smooth inbound and outbound operations, on-time delivery to domestic and Asia customers, and compliance with company standards. Support the manufacturing supply chain by effectively planning and executing transportation and customs processes to optimize cost and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate daily inbound materials and outbound finished goods shipments to domestic and Asian customers.

2. Arrange transportation with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and trucking companies for timely delivery.

3. Prepare and manage shipping documents including invoices, packing lists, CO, CQ and export/import declarations.

4. Support customs clearance processes for both import and export shipments in compliance with regulations

5. Monitor inventory movements related to logistics transactions to ensure system accuracy.

6. Communicate with local and the head office teams (Fabrication, Sales, Planning) to align shipping schedules with customer requirements.

7. Maintain accurate records of shipment costs, delivery lead times, and carrier

performance.

8. Identify and propose logistics cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.

9. Handle any logistics issues, delays, or discrepancies promptly with effective problem-solving.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelor's or College’s degree preferably in foreign trade, import and export others related.

Professional Experience:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics coordination, import and export field, preferably in a manufacturing environment with international trade activities.

- Technical Skills:

+ Fluent in English

+ Solid knowledge of logistics and shipping processes, import/export procedures, and Incoterms.

- Experience with ERP systems and logistics modules.  Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Working Conditions:

- Office-based with regular visits to warehouse and loading areas;

Standard working hours (from 8:00 AM, Monday to 5:00 PM, Friday)

Key Success Criteria:

- On-time and accurate delivery performance to customers.

- Compliance with customs and shipping regulations.

- Accuracy and completeness of logistics documents and system records. - Effective coordination with internal departments (such as warehouse coordination, production planning support) and external service providers (including supplier/customer communication, shipment booking).

- Implementation of logistics cost reduction or process improvement initiatives.

Reporting & Collaboration:

- Reports directly to Business Director.

- Collaborates with fabricators, QA, sales team and external freight forwarders, shipping lines,..

This role requires an organized and proactive individual with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. It involves regular interaction with local teams as well as the headquarters in Israel, requiring excellent communication skills to to ensure smooth logistics operations.
