Logistics & Customs Specialist

Salary Range: Negotiable (based on experience & skills)

Job Description:

1. Receive customer orders and confirm the delivery schedule based on production capacity.

2. Purchase materials according to orders and follow up with suppliers to deliver them on time.

3. Oversee daily logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory management, and distribution

4. Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.

5. Track shipments, handle documentation (e.g., invoices, shipping orders), and resolve delivery issues.

6. Handle customs clearance procedures for import/export shipments, ensuring compliance with local and international trade regulations.

7. Prepare and review customs documentation (e.g., invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, permits, and declarations).

8. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government agencies to facilitate smooth customs clearance.

9. Classify goods under HS codes, work on COO application and ensure accurate tariff/duty calculations.

10. Maintain records of customs transactions and ensure proper documentation for audits.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

2. Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Working experience in EPE factories is preferred.

3. Skills:

- Excellent communication skills in English. Be able to communicate in Chinese is a plus.

- Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, Incoterms, and HS code classification.

- Familiar with the customs declaration process of EPE factories. Familiar with the regulatory requirements of the customs for EPE factories.

- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Kingdee) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

4. Competencies:

- Ability to work independently and with analytical skills.
