Logistics Executive

I. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and send Feeder/Barge/Truck Job Orders (JOs) for both laden and empty containers; confirm volumes with service providers.

• Manage transshipment cargo from Cai Mep to Hai Phong / Da Nang / Qui Nhon, including checking and updating container movement status.

• Arrange trucking and allocate empty containers for off-dock bookings; confirm lift-on/lift-off volumes with depots and ICDs.

• Coordinate with barge vendors for both import and export shipments.

• Verify and confirm monthly volumes and charges related to barging, trucking, reefer monitoring, and storage with terminals, ICDs, depots, and service providers.

• Review feeder rates for Out-of-Gauge (OOG) cargo transiting via Cai Mep to Hai Phong / Da Nang / Qui Nhon.

• Monitor the movement of import-laden containers from Cai Mep to Ho Chi Minh City and follow up with barge vendors to ensure timely delivery.

• Prepare a weekly report on Non-Departure Intermodal stock status.

• Collaborate with colleagues in India to process accounts payable invoices (e.g., storage, reefer, lift-on/lift-off, etc.).

• Support the Logistics Manager with document preparation, verification, and filing.

• Handle daily communications via email and perform other assigned duties as needed.

II. Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Foreign Trade, or a related field

• Proficient in English (spoken and written)

• Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or with a shipping line is preferred
