Logistics Executive

Summary Position:

- The Logistics Executive is responsible for the overall management of empty equipment or containers at the terminal / depot.

- This includes managing container inventory control, coordinating on-hire / off-hire processes, arranging the supply of reefer spares, and preparing reports related to empty containers.

Responsibilities:

1. Release activities

- Ensure release as per scorecard and weekly target

- Receive special demands regarding release

- Daily check release for White list booking

- Weekly send overdue list to all depots

- Follow up on the release

2. Release empty container to shipper

- Input release depot as per customer's demand / instructions from team

- Receive and send mail order for released boxes to shipper

- Send and update booking release to each depot / ICDs

- Handle any issue from customer / depot regarding release

3. Stock report

- Daily follow up on AV stock

- Coordination with M&R team to ensure AV stock is sufficient at all depots

4. Local charges export

- Calculating detention / demurrage and reefer power charge for export in HCM, Quy Nhon, Da Nang and send email to shipper about these fees

- Inputting local charge on OVA/Ibox system: power cost, detention / demurrage charge for export

- Monthly check and confirm storage / reefer charge with ICDs / terminals

- Assist Manager in checking invoices from the terminal / depot

Key Experience & Qualifications

- Minimum diploma qualified, preferably in the field of Maritime or Logistic and Supply Chain

- Minimum experience in 1 - 2 years

Key Competencies & Skills

- Strong in English, both written & spoken

- Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

- Container management knowledge

- High sense of compliance and integrity

- Depot, terminal experiences are preferred

- General knowledge on container industry

- Organized with the ability to meet tight deadlines

- Customer focused

- Problem solving and analytical skills
