Maintenance Manager

Department: Production and Maintenance

Reporting line: Senior Production and Maintenance Manager

Working Location: Song than II Industrial Zone, Binh Duong province

1. Ensure equipment, machines, process line are available and reliability for the production activities.

• Develops and implements technical standards, policies, procedures and systems specifically focusing on maintenance systems, automation systems and all facilities included in the overall manufacturing processes.

• Ensure equipment, machines are available, reliability to meet production plan.

• Incorporate with other teams to plan and organize the maintenance activities to comply with maintenance procedure and carry out PM as planned.

• Drive to solve troubleshooting to quickly get equipment, machines back to production activities.

• Lead to drive the RCA process to improve the problem solving skills for maintenance staffs for Breakdown time improvement and CAPA closure.

• Enhance the maintenance data base by building WIs for maintenance tasks.

• Ensure team members to comply with safe work and food safety policies during maintenance activities execution.

• Manage Spare parts team to adequate provide spare parts for maintenance activities planning.

• Maintain and manage all Spare part activities to ensure all spare parts are controlled and updated.

• Drive and manage Spare part store team to comply with properties management policies.

• Lead PM pillar to carry out the PM program, plan and organize all PM teams to standardize and centralize the PM master data and drive the PM implementation to ensure the company business.

• Incorporate with Production team and CIPPE team to carry out the PPE program with focus on the PM transfer to AM to daily support to production operational.

• Combine PM and AM activities following the PPE project to improve the OEE of equipment/machines and production lines.

• Drive team to organize the Gemba activities and CAPA closure for Safety, Quality safety and PPE program.

• Keeps design data of manufacturing assets and equipment, supplier documentation and related information in an asset management library in order to capture and disseminate best design practices within PVM. Oversees the development of maintenance process and innovation to ensure that PVM stays a leader in the industry through innovation and deployment of operational excellence.

• Maintains the operational procedures in ISO and safeguards certification compliance benchmarking the overall standardization.

2. Improve, increase automation on the equipment and process lines.

• Ensure all equipment, machines, process lines of investment or improvement are available and highest reliability, quality and safety.

• Utilization of Continuous Improvement processes to drive improvements into the organisation and develop a continuous improvement mind set within the technical department.

• Drive improvement projects to increase automation at process lines to reduce HC and operation cost.

• Focus on the HC reduction at the beginning of the design stage of projects of upgrading or new investment.

• Partnering in New Product Development (NPD) and development in designing and setting-up of pilot production activities.

• Working with other Group Engineering from other OCs for best practice sharing and benchmarking.

3. Communication and Networking

• Working with the other OCs on business processes, technical and any other relevant maintenance aspects in order to share best practices and to develop standardized and best practices maintenance procedures.

• Further develop and maintain relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, including relevant external contacts with key partners, engineering resources, professional / industrial organizations and governmental bodies as the technical representative of PVM.

4. Organization and people development

• Organize Project team with clear roles and responsibility.

• Facilitate the improvement of technical knowledge across the organization.

• Enhance the skill job via training activities for both class room training and on-the-job training.

• Incorporate with Training team to build the Technical Matrix for team members and deliver the training for both class room and on job training for career development.

• Standardize the prototype of troubleshooting solving by setting and building up the standard troubleshooting guide and deliver the training for team members.

Knowledge

• Major in Mechanical or Electrical certified.

• Industrial Safe work knowledge.

• Good in project management.

• Good in industrial maintenance knowledge.

• Good knowledge in equipment hygienic design in food factory.

• Knowledge of relevant procedures and working instructions in quality, safety and food safety, environmental management systems and other related Safety and Environmental standards and procedures.

Professional and technical Skills

• Project management.

• English level C or equivalent.

• Good in using office tools: Word, Excel, Powerpoint.

• Good in using AutoCad drawing and Ms.project.

Qualifications

• University graduated major in Electrical or Mechanical.

• Certificates of Ms Project, Project management.

• Proficiency in English both spoken and in writing.

Experience

• 7-10 years of progressive professional experience in manufacturing environments and project management within an international food organization.

• 5-7 years’ experience in industrial equipment maintenance and operation, specifically with regard to assets management.
