Maintenance Manager - Packaging Plant

I. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The position holder is responsible for technical supervision and maintenance of production machinery and equipment, ensure they always operate smoothly and safely to serve production goals.

II. MAIN ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintenance Planning

• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

• Plan and perform maintenance and repairs effectively to minimize downtime and ensure reliability of machinery and equipment.

• Forecast necessary spare parts and having appropriate purchasing plans to ensure timely and effective maintenance and repair work.

2. Production Equipment, machine Management

• Manage Mechanical and Electrical Workshop.

• Carry out repair and maintenance tasks and provide technical engineering service for production.

• Manage, organize and control all repair work and delegate specific tasks to the team.

• Supervise and follow up on actual progress of each repair and maintenance activity.

• Detect errors and faults on machines and equipment in case of malfunction.

• Supervise greasing work on machines (according to greasing manual).

• Engineer and manufacture machine parts, devices, spare parts, components as needed.

• Supervise repair and maintenance work carried out by external third parties.

• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment failures to have the preventive actions.

• Prepare and analyze relevant maintenance reports.

• Coordinate with production, quality and logistics departments to ensure equipment readiness.

3. Team management

• Supervise, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide instruction to maintenance team to ensure work is performed effectively.

• Promote a culture of safety, quality, teamwork and continuous improvement.

4. Budget and Cost control

• Obtain cost estimates for devices, tools, spare parts in cooperation with the superior and the purchasing department.

• Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.

5. Improvement

• Find and evaluate possibilities to improve and optimize machines and equipment.

• Involve and promote the Company's Continuous Improvement Program (CIP).

6. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure that safety regulations are observed and safety equipment are used by the team.

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with GMP, ISO, FSSC 22000 and other internal requirements.

• Adhere to all the Company's policies, procedures and business ethics code and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within maintenance team.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, calibration, and equipment history.

• Coordinate in audits and inspections when needed.

• Coordinate in incident investigations when necessary.

• University degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.

• At least 3 years of experience in maintenance management in a multinational manufacturing company.

• Fluent Vietnamese, good English communication.

• Leadership skills, growth mindset, team player.

• Strong organizational, planning and adaptibility skills.

• Good analytical thinking and problem solving ability.
