Maintenance Supervisor/ Giám Sát Bảo Trì

Job Summary:

• Implement and supervise the repair, replacement of spare parts, and maintenance activities to minimize machine downtime.

• Monitor and supervise the maintenance of infrastructure, including fire prevention systems (FIRE).

• Oversee the availability of tools and spare parts needed for repairs.

• Execute improvement projects aimed at process enhancements or increasing production efficiency within scheduled timelines.

• Inspect safety and 5S standards within the workshop.

• Control the maintenance budget as allocated by the Department Head.

• Develop the capacity and capabilities of the maintenance team.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Identify and resolve all issues related to machinery and equipment during operations.

• Execute, implement, and supervise the scheduled maintenance of machinery as per the plan, overhaul machinery, and replace components as assigned by the Maintenance Department Head.

• Update the maintenance schedule, track machine downtime due to breakdowns.

• Monitor inventory levels of tools and spare parts, propose and follow up on delivery timelines to reduce downtime caused by breakdowns.

• Participate in and execute equipment installation projects as assigned by the Maintenance Department Head.

• Contribute to cost-saving initiatives through efficient use of spare parts, effective production planning, enhanced machine performance, and reducing machine breakdowns.

• Collaborate with maintenance team leaders to provide troubleshooting guidance and operational procedures.

• Work with the production department to implement machinery improvements and process enhancements.

• Inspect tools and equipment to identify unsafe conditions or violations of safety protocols (e.g., operational safety, maintenance safety, and LOTO procedures).

• Conduct training on machine operation, troubleshooting, and equipment handling for the maintenance team.

• Participate in recruitment of new maintenance staff.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Department Head.

Qualifications:

• College or University degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.

Experience:

• At least 4 years of experience in maintenance, equipment installation, and troubleshooting (PLC faults, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Servo Drivers, sensors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, etc.).

• Ability to design electrical schematics, modify or create new automation circuit designs.

• Experience working in wood or furniture manufacturing industries.

• Knowledge and experience in electrical automation, mechatronics, and power distribution systems.

• Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

• Experience with CNC woodworking machinery.

• Proficiency in electrical components (CB, Contactor, Overload Relay, Relays, VFDs, Servo Drivers, PLCs, Sensors, Motors, etc.).

• Experience operating and troubleshooting auxiliary equipment: dust collection systems, air compressors, generators, fire prevention systems (FIRE).

Skills:

• Strong technical reading skills and ability to interpret electrical diagrams and CAD drawings.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.

• Strong analytical skills, quick problem-solving abilities, and decision-making.

• Proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to different situations quickly.

• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic.

• Proficient in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).

• Willingness to travel for business if required.
