Manager – Accounting

This position will oversee and ensure the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of all accounting operations. The selected candidate will take over the responsibilities of the existing role during a temporary assignment period.

**Responsibilities:

1. AR & AP Control

• Oversee and guide the overall AR & AP operations to ensure accuracy, timeline, and compliance with internal control policies and accounting standards.

• Monitor AR performance and aging for current project company and coordinate with other parties to build the new SOP that suitable with operating model of new entity (if any).

• Lead collaboration with clients, internal teams, and management to resolve payment delays or disputes effectively.

• Review and update AR/AP Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance process efficiency and compliance.

2. FS & other accounting reporting

• Ensure all accounting data across entities is accurately recorded in the systems and supports effective budget control.

• Prepare and submit all statutory and group reports on time.

• Provide timely and approved financial information to relevant stakeholders.

• Support loan monitoring and reporting activities.

3. Accounting Policy & Compliance

• Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies and procedures to ensure alignment between Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and IFRS.

• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, tax laws, and corporate financial policies.

• Lead in audit activities and ensure all reports are submitted on schedule.

4. Taxation & Regulatory Matters

• Manage and ensure compliance with all tax obligations (CIT, VAT, PIT, FCT, etc.).

• Liaise with tax authorities on audits, inspections, and clarifications.

• Keep management updated on changes in tax laws and their potential impact on the business.

5. Fixed Asset Management

• Oversee fixed asset accounting, registration, depreciation, and reconciliation.

• Ensure accurate records and asset tagging for all company assets.

• Coordinate annual asset verification and reconciliation with other departments.

6. Team Supervision & Collaboration

• Supervise and support accounting staffs to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables.

• Collaborate closely with other functions to ensure smooth accounting operations.

**Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting.

- Certificate of Chief Accounting is a must.

- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in all modules of accounting.

- Experience working on Oracle.

- Fluent in English.

- Good people management and leadership skill.
