The Role

The role of the Recruitment Manager (Vietnam) is to assist with the development of the marketing and recruitment strategy in Vietnam and drive the implementation of engagement activities to ensure growth of enrolments to RMIT Melbourne from Vietnam. This role will also support the agent network for RMIT Vietnam to drive the enrolments from agents to the Vietnam campuses.

The current designation of market for this role is Vietnam but may be adjusted within the context of the overall strategy. The successful applicant will be based at the Saigon South campus and will be expected to regularly travel within Vietnam or to other countries as required.

The key performance outputs for this role include:

Monitoring applications and offers to enrolment with a robust conversion strategy in Vietnam
Managing key stakeholder relationships
Monitoring and reporting of competitor analysis on a regular basis
Successful implementation of engagement events
Active participation in recruitment events

Your Responsibilities

Student Recruitment and Agent management

Develop and maintain positive and effective relationships to ensure that agents and partners are aware of RMIT programs and services.
Manage agent relationships and their recruitment performance.
Enable support and resources to the agent network to reinforce the recruitment strategy.
Provide market insights, intelligence, and recommendations to support recruitment growth in Vietnam for RMIT Melbourne.
Coordinate the dual campus program students to Melbourne.

Promotion and Market developments

Coordinate with the Melbourne International student recruitment team and the Marketing team in Vietnam to provide marketing materials and campaign resources to agents.
Conduct training sessions about RMIT Programs and admissions information to agents and prospective students.
Present and consult for RMIT at education fairs and exhibitions.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to organise recruitment events, school engagement, pre-departure sessions and workshops.
Refer prospective students from direct recruitment events, such as standalone RMIT recruitment events and non-agent related school fairs.
Measure the effectiveness of market activities and report back regularly to the manager
Support new market development.

Administration and admissions

Manage the lead and application data and generate performance reports to support agents in conversion strategies and campaigns.
Assess applications, process offers for straightforward cases and lift conditions on offers.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 5 years working in an education, marketing, or service-based industry.
Demonstrated high level communication skills, written, and spoken (English and Vietnamese).
Well-developed and demonstrable strong interpersonal skills, including flexible negotiation, liaison, and cross-cultural communication specifically related to excellent customer service and sales functions.
Excellent presentation skills in front of large audiences.
Experience in data management and maintenance of CRMs with attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated experience in analysing data and developing reports.
Well-developed planning, organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to supervise, coordinate and/or implement tasks in a timely fashion.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team environment.
