Manager, Application Engineering & Project Management (Cumminsdksh Vietnam)

Engineering Project Management:

- Manage engineering projects by developing detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities

- Provide technical guidance to support project design, development, testing and implementation phases.

- Develop and review technical instructions for system set-up and installation activities.

- Oversee product construction and testing in order to ensure completion of projects efficiently and effectively.

- Assess and emphasize risks related to engineering projects and develop mitigation plans.

- Identify and develop new opportunities with existing contracts.

Application Engineering:

- Oversee and lead the design and development of equipment and systems or redesign of existing equipment to fulfill the needs of customers.

- Review & determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements and performance standards.

- Develop technical proposals, prepare cost estimates, delivery and commercial terms to secure orders.

- Research and make recommendations for design enhancements or modifications to meet the ever-changing availability of technology and needs of the customer base.

- Responsible for final system design creation and review.

- Provide technical expertise on specific applications to generate sales leads and work collaboratively with the sales team.

- Conduct product demonstrations/technical presentations to customers or at conferences to promote products and services.

- Other tasks assigned by Line Manager

- Manage and oversee team’s delivery of team/function goals to drive execution against goals set.

- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment to encourage teamwork and employee engagement.

- Identify training and development needs for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities

- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), or a related field.

- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar role.

- Minimum three years’ experience in a managerial capacity

- Demonstrate technical knowledge in Engine, Power Generation

- Demonstrate understanding of corporate risk and customs compliance

- Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Adaptability and willingness to embrace change.

- Problem solving skill
