Manager Technical Service (R&D Manager) (Dairy & Beverage Ingredients)

Formulation and Supplier Portfolio Development:

• Develop and manage a formulation-based supplier portfolio that aligns with our business goals and customer needs.

• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure a diverse range of high-quality chemical products.

• Continuously evaluate and optimize our portfolio to include innovative products that meet emerging market demands.

Market Trends and Customer Expectations:

• Conduct market research to identify and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer expectations.

• Translate market insights into actionable strategies and recommendations.

• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align product offerings with market demands

Innovation Center Management:

• Oversee the operations of the innovation center, ensuring it is equipped with the necessary resources and facilities.

• Manage the innovation center’s budget, optimizing expenditures while maintaining high standards of innovation and experimentation.

• Foster an environment of creativity and technical excellence within the innovation center.

• Supervise and provide guidance to the team fostering professional growth and ensuring high performance.

• Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the team has the necessary resources and support to execute their responsibilities.

Customer Support and Technical Problem Solving:

• Provide technical assistance and support to customers, ensuring high levels of service satisfaction.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to product formulations and applications.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate sales, and marketing teams to drive product innovation and development.

• Serve as a technical expert in internal and external meetings, providing insights and guidance.

• Proven experience in a technical or managerial role within the chemical industry.

• Strong understanding of formulation development and chemical distribution processes.

• Experience in managing or mentoring staff members.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication (English) and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage budgets and optimize resource allocation

• Bachelor's degree in Applied Science/Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering/Food Engineering or related field

• Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in R&D role, Senior Lab Technician or relevant role.

• 2-3 years’ experience in a managerial capacity (a plus)
