Manufacturing Engineer

In general: - To achieve the basic quality required by company - To improve the quality and process control standards of our customers' plants, leading to the delivery of all good products. - To improve the system to prevent the outflow of defective products. Specific duties: (1) Travel to client factories in Vietnam and neighbouring countries such as Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, etc., to identify problems and provide guidance on on-site process improvement. (2) Provide guidance on the causes of the above and on the implementation of countermeasures. (3) PDCA follow-up from the above causes to the implementation of countermeasures (organising and managing meetings) using Teams, etc. (4) Not just improving the site, but also improving the process at the site. (5) Provide advice and guidance on not only on-site improvements, but also on improving the management level of the factory. (6) Have suppliers analyse and take preventive measures against quality problems using process FMEA and FTA. (7) Participate in the production witness meetings at the time of mass production to prevent the occurrence and outflow of quality problems. Confirm that improvement points are being implemented as planned. (8) Conduct process audits, point out problems and demand improvements. (9) When quality problems occur, check local process issues (grasp current status), analyse causes, plan countermeasures, check implementation and lead the progress according to the halt QC story. (10) Proceed with manufacturing engineering work in accordance with the instructions of the Japanese manufacturing engineering department and quality assurance work in accordance with the instructions of the Japanese quality assurance department. (11) Support sales operations in cooperation with local members.

• Fluent in Japanese and English • Experience in the following areas in a manufacturing company: production engineering, manufacturing engineering, (quality assurance, quality control). • Production engineering, manufacturing engineering, (quality assurance, quality control). • Able to work in a fast-paced environment. • Able to use logical thinking. • Good communication skills. • Able to travel abroad on own (from Vietnam to neighbouring Asian countries). • Practical experience of on-site improvement from quality defect occurrence to analysis and factory process measures. • Know-how in site management and improvement leadership. • Preferably in the automotive industry, electrical products industry (manufacturing, quality assurance, manufacturing technology, development) • Experience in plastic moulding, pipe products, painting, welding, woodworking and metalworking. • Basic knowledge of quality control (someone who can take a QC approach). • The following are some of the key skills required: - Quality data analysis and preparation of site action reports. • Experience in plant management and leadership in a manufacturing environment (in a leadership role). • Knowledge of key process technologies and process control, such as metalworking, painting, plating, woodworking and welding. • Knowledge of design fundamentals such as blueprints, BOM and cost control. • Knowledge of ISO. • Experience in factory process audits.
