Manufacturing Supervisor (Finishing)

Role Purpose

Delivering output to maximize Sales, improving finishing conversion cost through wise usage of Labour, Machines and Utilities, and driving productivity projects such as waste reduction, quality improvement

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities

Health and Safety and housekeeping

• Follow and support to deliver company and department‘s activities, KPIs relating to H&S.

• Responsible for H&S within responsible areas

Working accountabilities.

• Ensure all work instructions compliance

• Ensure to comply with all company policy

• Ensure that operators receive training to be able to achieve efficiency targets using PAT methodology and can work safely before they are transferred to production department.

• Work with shift-leader, technical technician to identify opportunities for improvements that will result in lower internal non-conformance and fewer customer complaints.

• Follow up action implementation that can result in revising work instructions or upgraded production processes

• Open and champion improvement projects relating to product, process quality

Responsible for department KPIs : OHK, Volume, Waste, Short order, Customer complaints , Length, Lub uptake

• Ensure deliver Finished good meet quality specification, achieve the target in volume

• Work with Quality Assurance to identify opportunities and action plans for improvements that will result in lower internal non-conformance and fewer customer complaints.

• Manage department KPIs as target setting

• Other tasks assigned by manager.

Essential

• At least 3 years' experience in manufacturing management (manage team over 150 employees)

• University degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related

• Good communication and problem solving skill

• Good to use Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint….

Desirable

• Able working in shift

• Lean Six Sigma knowledge

• Project leader

• Good to communication in English

• Presentation skill
