Market Research and Industries Study Manager

• Research & development:

o Conduct research on Vietnam's macro environment, including legal frameworks, market trends, investor landscape, and entrepreneurial activities.

o Monitor and analyze major economic and investment trends, as well as emerging business idea

o Study industry and market landscapes of potential investment sectors.

o Research key business models in Vietnam for case studies.

o Set up networks for market intelligence and investment opportunities

• Target Analysis & investment:

o Develop investment criteria, strategies, and roadmaps for potential sectors.

o Source suitable investment targets based on predefined criteria.

o Conduct target analysis, including market positioning assessments and identification of potential risks and opportunities.

• Other Assignments as Required

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Economics, Investment, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field

• 12 years of experience, with at least 5-7 years in market investigation, investment research, or strategic analysis (e.g., greenfield investments, M&A, venture capital, etc.)

• Industry expertise in sectors such as chemicals, energy, fintech, technology, infrastructure, or real estate.

• Strong research skills – Ability to assess industry trends, market opportunities, and regulatory risks

• Logical thinking and analytical ability – Capable of developing business models and conducting target investment analysis.

• Effective report writing and presentation skills – Skilled in preparing analysis reports, market research papers, and presentations for leadership teams.

• Management skills – Able to manage multiple projects efficiently, prioritize tasks

• Strong teamwork and collaboration – Strong adaptability, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills

• Conversational in English
