POSITION OVERVIEW
Lighthouse Group Indochina (LGI) is seeking a commercially driven Marketing Manager to lead the execution of brand strategies and trade initiatives in the dynamic Vietnam market. Your role is to ensure executional excellence across trade, sales, and marketing functions to drive distribution, visibility, and commercial results.
You will manage the Brand Marketing and Trade Marketing teams, and work closely with Sales leadership to ensure that marketing plans convert into sales, volume, and brand equity in the field.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial & Marketing Strategy
• Translate global brand strategies into actionable, market-specific execution plans.
• Align brand activities with LGI’s commercial goals: volume growth, new distribution, and ROI.
• Lead annual planning with brand owners, ensuring execution feasibility and commercial impact.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across sales, marketing, and trade to meet distribution and visibility goals.
Trade Marketing & Execution Oversight
• Ensure Trade Marketing team delivers in-outlet execution (POSM, visibility, promoter programs, activation).
• Collaborate with sales teams to design and implement effective trade promotions by channel (on-trade, off-trade, modern trade).
• Own the operational rhythm of the trade calendar, reporting, and campaign tracking.
Brand Owner & Partner Management
• Act as the key point of contact for global brand partners.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting, budget tracking, and campaign feedback.
• Manage joint business planning and partner expectations on execution KPIs, ROI, and market realities.
Performance Analysis & Budget Ownership
• Monitor A&P spend; analyze ROI across programs and campaigns.
• Lead post-activity evaluations and ensure continuous improvement in executional output.
• Work with Finance and Sales Ops to connect spend with commercial performance.
Team Leadership & Deployment
• Lead and develop the Brand/Customer Marketing and Trade Marketing teams.
• Ensure clear accountability and alignment of roles across the team.
• Drive collaboration across internal teams (sales, logistics, finance) for flawless delivery.
• Maintain discipline on timelines, follow-through, and executional checklists.
Internal & External Coordination
• Serve as the connector between brand vision and in-market execution.
• Lead cross-functional meetings, track campaign milestones, and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Coordinate with agencies or freelance partners when needed for execution support (event logistics, POSM production).

EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
• Minimum 5–7 years in FMCG, Luxury Brands and/or beverage marketing roles with a strong commercial and trade focus.
• Proven ability to manage brand and trade marketing teams in a matrix environment.
• Experience working with global brands and handling reporting, approvals, and joint planning.
• Strong familiarity with Vietnam’s on-trade and off-trade landscape.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
• Commercially minded and highly execution-focused.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Clear communicator with a “get-things-done” attitude.
• Comfortable coordinating across departments, aligning sales and marketing for results.
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
