Responsibilities
• Establish trading operations: Oversee business development, import/export, supply chain, pricing, and sourcing.
• Product portfolio development: Source and sell both existing and new chemicals and raw materials.
• Market intelligence: Conduct market research, competitor and customer surveys, and maintain detailed knowledge of industry trends, growth rates, competitors, market share, opportunities, and threats.
• Commercial negotiations: Negotiate profitable terms, credit limits, and reliable sourcing channels.
• Reporting: Monitor activities and provide relevant management information.
• Stakeholder engagement: Build and nurture relationships with suppliers, customers, editors, and report writers.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Liaise with other company functions to support business and organizational development.

• Delop and expand the product portfolio by sourcing and selling both existing and new chemicals and raw materials.

Education
(Level and area)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a relevant field is mandatory.
• MBA in Marketing is highly desirable.
Experience

• Background in Chemicals: A
• Minimum of 5 years experience in full-cycle domestic and International chemical trading experience: M
• Strong book value across a diverse range of chemicals: Basic chemicals, Petrochemicals, Acetyls, Chlor Alkali products, rubber chemicals, polymers, and oleo chemicals: M
• Demonstrated financial and commercial acumen, effective negotiation skills, and robust supply/demand forecasting and planning abilities: M
• Sourcing of products from local manufacturers: M
Competence/Skills
(i.e. IT-skills, change management, project management, negotiation skills)

• Effective Communication: M
• Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, etc.): M
• Good Relationship Management Skills: M
• Good Negotiation Skills: M
• Team Work: M
Language skills
(Level 1=Basic, Level 2 = Good, Level 3 = Very Good, Level 4 = Fluent, Level 5 = Mother tongue)
• English (speaking and writing): 4
• Vietnamese Language: 4
• Chinese language skills are a plus: 1
