About the role:

To take the lead in creating, developing, implementing and managing the school’s marketing and communications strategies in order to support the achievement of the school’s strategic objectives. This will include pupil recruitment, retention, communications and management strategies.



Line Report:

- Direct: Marketing Manager

- Dotted Line: Director of Marketing and Admissions and Head of School.



Key accountabilities:

- Create action plans and select marketing channels, tools and media, develop methods to measure the effectiveness and success of plans and campaigns.

- Coordinate resources to implement communication and marketing plans.

- Manage online advertising communication activities. Orient and manage content on media channels: Website, Fanpage, YouTube...

- Production of communication products. Build publication content to meet brand promotion requirements: videos, images, print, POSM, website, landing page...

- Manage, organise, and coordinate educational events and activities to attract parents and students to participate. Coordinate with agencies and partners in organisational stages. Actively coordinate with departments and divisions within the company to prepare for the event.

- Prepare operating budgets and calculate the correlation between costs and desired effectiveness.



Specific Responsibilities:



1) Communications

- Ensure that all communications maintain a professional approach with parents, pupils and staff.

- Measure and report on communications plan results on a quarterly basis, and monitor marketing budgets monthly.

- Develop and manage the school website and the use of a broad range of social and digital media interactions to ensure that they represent effective e-communication tools and fit with the wider marketing and PR strategy and positively engage with all audience profiles.

- Arrange regular website review meetings to ensure that action and decisions move forward, ensuring content remains engaging and fresh. Respond to the needs and preferences of the market, for example with dynamic, innovative content and to undertake additional training as and when this is necessary.

- Develop and help to implement an engagement programme with the local community in conjunction with Leadership Team.



2) Public Relations and Public Events

- Develop effective media relations, with the local press and targeted media nationally.

- Be aware of the school’s schedule of activities and events and capitalise on the PR opportunities they offer.

- Prepare appropriate materials for stands at external events and exhibitions.

Job requirements

Requirement:

- Graduated from University majoring in communications, journalism, marketing and related majors

- Requires 5 years of working experience in the field of Communications - Marketing. Experience in the field of Education is preferred.

- Requires 3 years of experience managing a team of at least 3-5 people.

- Skills in planning, assigning work, checking and monitoring;

- Have creative critical thinking and grasp content trends;

- Capable of being an ambassador and representing the school at public engagements

- Excellent inter-personal skills with influencing skills at all levels

- Efficient, resilient and reliable Excellent written and spoken English

- Able to write and edit good copy for ads, press releases, newsletters and other communications

- An eye for detail and a flair for recognising good graphic design.

- Excellent computer skills and ICT competence at a level to meet the demands of the job

All appointments in will be subject to two satisfactory references, Disclosure check by the Disclosure & Barring Service, medical fitness for this role and evidence of identity and qualifications. All the above checks must be completed before beginning work in the school. In the unlikely event of an unsatisfactory report being received following the issuing of a contract, the offer of appointment will be terminated without notice.
