Material Controller (Junior Level)

JOB SUMMARY

Great opportunity for detailed-oriented person to support the rapid growth of sales, aftermarket and service of Lectra & Gerber business in Vietnam. This position will be responsible for the internal and external coordination for Spare Parts and Consumables delivery and stock management with external warehouses, as well as SAP/Oracle operations and all related paperwork.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

- Maintain the right processes with cross-function teams and external warehouse in north and south, and manage warehouse and transportation cost;

- Manage the different external warehouses in north and south of Vietnam, for all floor map, storage location and bins/locators as well as the stock items and transactions of the warehouses to ensure stock accuracy and on time delivery;

- Manage necessary transactions in SAP/Oracle as well as related paperwork for all inbound/outbound with the external warehouses;

- Communicate with internal resources, i.e. Service Team or Sales Team, to assure on time delivery to keep a high Service Rate;

- Generate monthly inventory report and assure the physical inventory ties to SAP/Oracle balance;

- Get involved in the local logistics projects such as stock optimization, service rate improvement, etc.,

- Support warehouse activities in APAC region, i.e. Cambodia, Malaysia, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 2-year college (or above) education background with about 1-2 years’ experience in warehouse or material management in manufacturing or trading environment;

- Communication skills in English, in both speaking and writing;

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook;

- SAP/Oracle experience in material / inventory modules is a strong plus;

- Must be detailed-oriented and be sensitive for the inventory accuracy;

- Strong teamwork spirit with independent working ability. Demonstrated ability to multi task and work in a fast paced, high transaction volume environment supporting requirements from multiple sources
