Material Planner

Job Scope:

- Overall material planning, organizing, monitoring and expediting (internal and external supply)

- Drive timely material supply to meet customer OTD.

- Drive demand and supply stability and flexibility, including balancing (provide proposal) between Make/Buy on operational/ project level

- Interface with key suppliers and drive their deliveries according to actual required date in OOR.

Tasks:

- PTW review, MPS update and Order intake control.

- Drive and monitor PMs maintain PTW in time. Maintain MPS timely.

- Activate sales orders to trigger related demand, negotiate with PMs to reschedule if necessary.

- Release production/purchase order in time. Ensure purchase order is one PO, one project, one module and one supplier.

- Timely feedback confirmation date or best delivery date for new launched projects,

- Actively track and re-schedule orders, managing backlog orders continuously

- Engage operation teams and suppliers to ensure timely material availability of assigned account.

- Continuously checking availability and shortage material; indicate in early stage which items are potentially delaying and mitigate risks with other material planners or buyers

- In close cooperation with Production Supervisor/Manager, determine needs for OT or other resources to ensure delivery on commitment

- Adapt quickly ramp up/down situations in close cooperation with teams

- Taking lead to finish re-scheduling actions

- Execute and manage material transfer administration, borrowing and returning.

- Focus on material flow improvement. Quick turn over, deliver based on sequence.

- Support Program manager on ECO execution for order/inventory status and delivery schedule impact.

- Fulfill the requirements for any related works assigned by company.

Education:

Bachelor Degree or above

Critical Competences/Required:

- Minimum 10 years of master scheduling and material planning experience.

- Advance level communication skill in written and oral English is a must. (ability to communicate fluently with international stakeholders)

- More than 5 years working experience in multinational company/ CM equipment manufacturing environment is plus

- More than 5 years supervisor or management experience is plus

- Ability to organize and present work progress and also improvement proposal

- Ability to perform fact based analysis and present solution

Computer Literate:

- Minimum 10 years ERP- Key user experience with global ERP-system

- Experienced Microsoft Office -Excel user
