Material Planning And Logistic Manager

Position Objective:

• To be in line with Autoliv policies and procedures Materials Manager is assign to manage supply chain customer management functions comprising with warehouse operations, material planning and production planning to meet on time delivery in the right quantity at the right cost.

• This position is also responsible BOI operations to ensure all related BOI procedures are manage appropriately so that all available BOI privileges are maintained.line launch and continuous improvement.

Position Scope

• Responsible for all activities relating to inventory management and logistics. This role covers material planning, warehouse management, production planning, logistics and BOI compliance.

Main Activities

1. General

• Based on business long-term target and objectives, Materials Planning & Logistic Manager shall set up plan and implement strategies for Material Planning & Logistics Department.

• Responsible for policy deployment targets and implementation in Materials Planning & Logistics Department.

• Policy Deployment targets shall be determined together with the Plant Manager.

• Annual appraisal of Materials Manager shall linked to the policy deployment performance and achievements.

• Proactive support of QAD improvement activity.

• Prepare the annual budget, revise quarterly as part of the rolling forecast and track actual achievement to budget or targets.

• Plan and manage resources of Materials Planning & Logistics Department.

• Prepare and present monthly management report. Support Autoliv global to initiative global policies.

• Act as mentors and coach to middle management level.

• Allocate resources to join key activity, such as APDS project activities, Q5 meeting.

• Identify MUDA and implement continuous improvement project.

• Leading in some of ALV APS activity.

• Driving 5S implementation in all responsible areas.

2. Material Planning and Production Planning

• To manage Production planner to perform production planning.

• Support implementation of lean manufacturing techniques. (Heijunka, JIT delivery etc..)

• Initiate production leveling to meet line variety, line utilization and customer on time delivery.

• Review production contract with production to ensure line capacity will be in line with customer demand.

3. Warehouse and Inventory Management

• To manage warehouse team.

• To manage obsolescence inventory and process of disposal if necessary.

• Perform Half year and Annual stock take activity.

• To manage Cycle count activity and analysis.

• To control inventory accuracy and set up solid action plan to improve inventory accuracy.

• To manage Material Supply from storage to supermarket.

• To manage warehouse equipment maintenance by preventive maintenance and other tools.

• Driving 5S implementation inside and outside the warehouse area.

4. BOI activity

• Initiate and Implement Bol requirements and procedures.

• Streamline and improve BOI activities.

• Ensure all BOI benefits are active and knowledge of BOI benefits are understand and implement.

• Ensure BOT regulation are compliance without risk to business.

5. Customer Service

• To manage Customer service team.

• To manage sales forecast and firmed for protech any issued from the fluctuation.

• To manage SOP and EOP timming.

• To improve system support EDI and ASn with Customer.

• To mange Customer OTP to achieved the target.

• Minimum bachelor degree or higher (Preferably Business/Supply chain management/Engineering field)

• Minimum 10 years Materials Management work experience (Preferably Automotive)

• Knowledge of and experience with ERP systems.

• Knowledge of APQP.

• Automative and related Business knowleadge
