Mechanic Manager

The client of Navigos Search is a large FDI company in Viet Nam that is looking for a Mechanic Manager as below: Job Description: • Track the inventory of machines that are now on hand and consult the Industrial Engineering Manager to estimate the need for machinery in the future. • Work with Group-qualified Providers to Address Needs for Spare Parts and suggest buying based on anticipated requirements. Verify that the spare parts that purchasing has sourced meet the necessary specifications and quality standards. • Spare Parts Inventory: Set a goal level for spare parts inventory that strikes a compromise between the expenses of maintaining inventory and machine downtime. Keep your spare parts inventory at the desired level. • Stay informed about the newest machine technologies available. Determine whether technologies, by increasing speed and/or quality, could yield a favorable return on investment. • Work with Sample Room, Production, Continuous Improvement, and QA to create new work aids, machine adjustments, and automation designs to improve production efficiency and quality. • Hold relevant IEs for modifying and checking machines to technical parameters. Be personally involved as needed. • Retain relevant IEs for working with the PM and Technical Manager to validate the machinery requirements for producing new styles. Be personally involved as needed. • IEs are responsible for preparing machines, moving them onto the line, monitoring and lowering style changeover time, and providing human support when targets are not met. • Machine maintenance as planned.

• Graduated from University with major in Mechanical engineering or related • Good English of Command • Sound technical knowledge of garment manufacturing and manufacturing methods. • Thorough understanding of Mechanical and processes • Sound technical knowledge of garment and manufacturing methods
