Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF ROLE
- The Media Planning Head is responsible for quality of all communication plans proposed to client, also to ensure the execution of these plan with committed KPIs.
- This position plays the key role in pitching team – new business development
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Media Planning:
• Lead the team in develop communication plan for clients, both current & in pitching.
• Review drafted proposal/media plans conducted by planners
• Conduct and present proposal/media plans to key clients
• Update trends in the market to clients: new branding marketing activities, new commercials, new regulations on branding marketing, etc.
• Lead Media Review quarterly and present to clients
- Business Development
• Update current media trends in the market
• Identify potential new clients and conduct clients portfolio
• Update competitors’ activities
• Support and/or Lead to develop new services/products to clients
• Pitching participation - Prepare proposals and gain agreement
- Client Services
• Client meeting to update media trends and maintain the relationships
• Point of contact to handle any issues/discrepancies in planning process
• Conduct and maintain relationships with key clients and media owners
- People Management
• Delegate and monitor assigned tasks to direct reports
• Motivate and inspire the team to achieve company goals
• Monitor performance of team and address any issues
• Provide input to performance reviews for team
• Assist with the recruitment of team members
• Develop team members
• Provide strong & relevant account management coaching
Job Requirements
• Knowledge of Media or Communications industry
• 5-7 year experience in media and accounts management
• Used to work in both buying and planning areas
• Used to work with international clients is preferable
• Excellent – presentation skills
