Medical Affairs Senior Executive

Position Summary

• Acquire and update continuously necessary scientific knowledge on therapeutic area and relevant compounds.

• Develop and implement the local medical plan to address unmet medical needs in priority disease areas and ensure alignment with the brand plan.

• Develop and implement pre-launch medical plan/activities for new products prior to the planned launch in the country to address key clinical and scientific challenges in align with medical plan/integrated brand plan

• Strategic Planning: Participates in the development of strategic plans in collaboration with other teams to drive the success of products

• Meet with KEE to understand unmet needs or gaps from evidence to clinical practice, seeking advice/ input for what programs that could meet. Share emerging data with HCPs, discussing all aspects of the data in a scientific, objective and balanced way. Discuss and exchange update medical and clinical information, content development for medical program including CME, ABM, local independent congresses and other medical scientific activities. Engage KEE and doctors in discussions regarding scientific and clinical evidence on company products and claims.

• Update Real Word Evidence, competitive intelligence related therapeutic area including ongoing trials

• Represent medical affairs department at medical symposia/congresses. Collaborate for pre-event information and post-event summaries.

• Training and support to internal/external stakeholders: Train and support internal/external stakeholders by providing updated and relevant scientific and clinical information. Collaborate and communicate closely with commercial and regional/global medical teams

• Medical Enquiries: Respond timely, relevantly, accurately and scientifically balanced to scientific and medical inquiries to establish and/or further the knowledge and understanding of our products, including addressing issues about safety and reactive medical support of our products based on scientific data

• Ensure all medical activities and acumen follow Company's rule and regulation, Compliance as well as local regulations.

• Medical Doctor or Pharmacist degree, preferably with specialization and/or clinical experience in the relevant therapeutic area(s), experience in similar positions such as MSL, MA in MNC at least 3 years, with an advantage if having experience in the oncology field.

• Strong scientific baseline knowledge in therapeutic area, clinical trials methods, implementation and interpretation, sound scientific and clinical judgment, and eagerness to learn more in depth in therapeutic areas

• Strong, confident and engaging presentation skills

• Handling multiple tasks at the same time and working under pressure. Project management experience

• Strong customer facing skills, listening skills, probing skills, and flexibility

• Experience within a clinical drug development environment preferred.

• Must be able to travel approximately 50%

• Fluency in English is required

• Good at the computer as Word, Excel, Powerpoint
