MEP Project Manager (Industrial Projects - Location: India)

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead and manage MEP aspects of industrial projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they meet project goals, timelines, and budget.

• Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems effectively into the project design.

• Planning: Develop and oversee project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring all MEP activities are completed on time and within scope.

• Supervision: Manage and supervise MEP teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, to ensure high-quality work and compliance with industry standards.

• Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure all MEP installations meet the required standards and specifications.

• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.

• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, records, and correspondence, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available.

• Compliance: Ensure all MEP work adheres to local regulations, codes, and safety standards.

• Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or requirements.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP project management, specifically within the industrial sector.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Skills:

• Proven ability to manage complex MEP projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Languages:

• Proficiency in English is required.

• Knowledge of Chinese is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on international projects or with multinational teams.

• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is advantageous.
