MEP Team Leader

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, manage, and develop the MEP team, including coaching, training, resource allocation, and performance evaluation.

• Design, develop, and review MEP systems and project documentation, including tasks such as BIM modeling, drafting drawings, creating schedules, preparing specification notes, performing calculations, and managing other related scopes of work.

• Provide technical advice, input, and solutions relevant to MEP systems.

• Oversee and ensure the completion of design works and project deliverables within your team.

• Strong experience in overall coordination work inside any projects by the ability to read the other drawings/documents of the projects, like Structure, Architecture & MEP.

• Mobilize and manage project resources according to project plans, with coordination and review with superiors.

• Manage, complete, and hand over multiple MEP projects, ensuring timely delivery within approved budgets and resource allocations.

• Ensure all work conforms to QMS requirements and Atlas’ Quality Assurance Procedures (TAP).

• Monitor and support project profitability through discussion and review with superiors.

• Communicate effectively with clients, attend and lead project meetings, and support fee proposals.

• Support business development, resource planning, and recruitment as the division grows.

• Support approval of staff timesheets, OT requests, and leave.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager, including occasional overtime if required.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 6 years of experience in MEP design, modelling, and project delivery, including 2 years of team leadership or management experience.

• Strong understanding of BIM processes and project management methodologies.

• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD 2D, and MS Office.

• Experience with other MEP software and BIM platforms such as Navisworks, Revizto.

• Excellent technical, organizational, and communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.

• Sufficient knowledge of laws and regulations, building codes, and especially offshore regulations governing large construction projects.

• Proactive, diligent, and self-motivated.

• Ability to manage complex projects, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.

• Willingness to work overtime and travel if required.
