Job Description
1/ Rich experience in garment production, understanding the merchandising process, be able to control the each process to be completed on time.
2/ Have experience in dealing/communicating with overseas buyer on regular basis, and be able to tactfully manage and nurture relationship with buyer.
3/ be able to work with head office and/or buyer directly, merchandiser manager and factory for order’s T&A and make production planning.
4/ Experience in ERP system, be able to convert Tech Pack/Comment from buyer into understandable document to factory and give clear instruction to factory to follow.
5/ Work with head office and factory to arrange and submit all kind of samples on time.
6/ be able to check, approve and make comments on factory samples and work with factory and Tech/Qc team to improve it.
7/ Control the material shipment status, make the balance sheet and work with fabric team and factory to ensure production can be started on time and run smoothly.
8/ Follow up and check import and export document and deliver to relative party correctly.
9/ Experience in material ordering and be able to approve the material based on buyer’s requirement such as trim card, carton, thread, polybag and other …
10/ Be able to book the inline and final inspection with buyer QA, coordinate with tech, QA department to solve the problem arising in the production.
11/ Monitoring review and evaluate factory performance and report to management for suggestion.
12/ Experience in working with subcontract factory such as Printing, Washing, embroidery
* Purchasing Merchandiser
+ Check the TP, BOM and input order detail into system.
+ Place material (Purchase Order) PO to supplier within 3 days from received order.
+ Work T&A, material delivery date with supplier to ensure enough leadtime for production at factory and garment delivery date on time.
+ Make balance sheet.
+ Review order material status and update to production plan.
+ Closely follow and push supplier about L/D, bulk lot submit to buyer for approval.
+ Alert and give action if have any delay and impact to delivery date.
+ Consolidate orders from all supplier to limit shipment time to factory and save cost.
+ Work with factory on material inspection report 7-10 days after arrive factory warehouse as latest.
+ Make month payments to supplier
+ Make reconciliation report after garment shipped
Job Requirements
2/ At least 2-3 years’ experience in garment production merchandising.
3/ Garment FOB merchandising experience are preferable too.
4/ A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
5/ Strong planning and negotiation skills including the ability to influence at all levels
6/ Strong problem solving and analytical skill
7/ Excellent communication and presentation skills
8/ Good written & spoken English
9/ Willing to work under pressure.
