About the job
Specific Responsibilities Would Include:
Handle end-to-end merchandising and product development activities until shipment, ensuring the right vendor, price, and on-time delivery.
• Communicate regularly with buyers about production and shipment status.
• Manage assigned product categories and serve as the primary contact for those areas.
• Coordinate operational activities, including sample development, costing, production tracking, and WIP follow-ups.
• Communicate requirements to suppliers and oversee the order process to ensure quality, quantity, and timely delivery.
• Negotiate prices with the vendors and suppliers.
• Address production issues with QA’s and collaborate with suppliers to offer solutions.
• Support the leadership such as the Merchandiser Managers and Product Development teams.
• Support and follow up with factory production, quality inspections, and compliance with deadlines.
• Maintain strong relationships with buyers and suppliers to optimize margins.
• Maintain all records in good & systematic order.
• Knowledge of US & other internation testing requirements and standards is an advantage.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have:
• Proven working experience in merchandising and related fields.
• Creative, has technical sensibility for merchandising.
• Knowledge of furniture or decorative accessories (and lighting) manufacturing, with some ideas on construction, and processes.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, highly detail oriented and meticulous.
• Bachelor’s Degree or with relevant experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, Excel.
• Immediate availability is highly preferable.
Skills and requirements:
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Problem solving and Negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and can manage their time effectively.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, multiple projects with urgency and deadline conscious.
• Demonstrate a self-driven, autonomous, eager to learn and creative attitude.
• High attention to detail and organized. Independent and hard working.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude.
Language Proficiency:
• Fluent in: English.
• Specific Working Conditions.
• Frequency of Travel: As required but should be able to travel to the vendors or factories within Vietnam.
