Merchandiser (MD)

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with suppliers and factories for product development and order management

• Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time delivery

• Communicate with buyers and internal teams for daily follow-ups

• Communicate directly with clients in English regarding sample development, production tracking, and quality requirements.

• Responsible for pre-production sample development and coordination with the Sample Room (sample request, material preparation).

• Create and manage material tracking sheets and production color charts.

• Approve bulk fabric for quality, color shade, print layout, and production consistency.

• Monitor results of fabric and finished product testing.

• Track material status, order summary sheets, and provide clear production instructions.

• Ensure shipment timelines are met according to the production schedule.

• Follow up daily production status in coordination with the manufacturing department.

• Prepare all necessary production documentation including technical files and quality control guidelines.

• Participate in meetings with customers and attend inspection sessions as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum condition, 2+ years in merchandising or sourcing, preferably in apparel industry Prior experience managing garment orders or fabric knowledge is a plus.

• Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).

• Proficient in MS Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

• Proactive, confident, and dynamic personality.

• Solid understanding of fabrics and garment production processes.

• Knowledge of business operations, banking, trade, and logistics is a plus.

• High sense of responsibility and strong organizational skills.

• Analytical thinking with a structured, team-oriented mindset.
