Merchandising Operations Coordinator - Upholstery

Position Overview

This position is with HH2H a trading/wholesaler focused on US retailers.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandising Operations Coordinator to support the Merchandising and Sales team for our Brick-and-Mortar accounts in upholstery products. Based in Vietnam, this role plays a key part in facilitating new product introductions, managing SKU and pricing data, coordinating compliance documentation, and enabling the sales team with essential tools and resources. The coordinator will collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless operations and timely execution of merchandising and sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Item Setup & SKU Management

• Facilitate the setup process for new product launches, ensuring accurate and complete product data.

• Create and maintain SKUs, product hierarchies, and updates across internal systems.

• Collaborate with the ERP Systems Administrator to ensure accurate integration of product data.

Product Data Management

• Maintain a centralized database of product specifications, attributes, and packaging details.

• Regularly audit product data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Ensure timely updates of product data for retailer portals and internal systems.

Pricing Administration

• Maintain and update pricing information as directed by the Merchandising team.

• Ensure consistent and accurate reflection of pricing in master price lists, retailer-specific price sheets, and sales tools.

• Assist with the preparation of market pricing and showroom walkthrough price lists for High Point Market and High Point Premarket.

• Coordinate with the sales and merchandising teams to finalize and distribute pricing materials ahead of key market events.

• Communicate pricing updates to internal stakeholders promptly.

Compliance Coordination

• Liaise with the Asia compliance team to gather and submit required documentation for Brick-and-Mortar accounts.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and retailer-specific requirements, including certifications and testing documentation.

Retailer-Specific Requirements

• Customize product data, packaging, and labeling to meet the unique needs of Brick-and-Mortar retailers.

• Monitor and ensure alignment with retailer-specific compliance standards.

• Work closely with factories to ensure packaging, barcoding, and labeling meet customer and regulatory expectations.

Digital Assets Management

• Oversee the completion, approval, and organization of digital product imagery and other assets.

• Ensure all assets meet branding guidelines and are easily accessible for sales and marketing purposes.

Process Improvement & Documentation

• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows for item setup, SKU maintenance, and compliance coordination.

• Develop and maintain clear process documentation to ensure consistency and efficiency across operations.

• Minimum 5 years experience in a Furniture Merchandising role, ideally with a trading company or buying office.

• Strong knowledge of upholstery products, particularly relating to US requirements.

• Experience dealing with large US retailers particularly in the Low to Medium end product range

Highly Fluent in English (comfortable dealing directly with US teams over calls and emails). Chinese Language skills are a plus.
