MFG Process Engineer (Cable Assembly, Box Build)

Job Description:

1. Cable Assembly Production, Box Construction such as:

• Create a BOM (Bill of Materials), check the BOM/DRW (Drawing), and upload it into ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).

• Calculate labor time for production.

• Modify 2D/3D models, Drawings, and BOM.

• Work with the ERP system and perform ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) to issue and update technical changes in BOM/DRW.

• Extract and analyze bills of materials (BOM) and the product structure of parts, subassemblies, and assemblies.

• Retrieve product documentation and specifications from internal and external database systems to maintain and update product data.

• Review and analyze product documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Provide regular updates on project progress and project reporting.

• Provide technical solutions and communicate with customers to resolve issues.

• Work with the Production, QC (Quality Control), and Inventory teams to resolve technical issues.

• Work with buyers/suppliers to ensure ordered parts meet drawing requirements.

2. Participate in Manufacturing process development, such as:

• Improve processes related to Manufacturing and the team.

• Develop Manufacturing control system to achieve higher productivity.

• Establish procedures/processes.

• Work with development software to implement improvement ideas.

• Nationality: Vietnamese

• English: 4 skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening)

• Degree in engineering or related subjects.

• Knowledge of procedures, processes, and engineering documentation with attention to detail.

• Knowledge of ECO, ERP, and AutoCAD.

• Good Japanese communication is preferred.

1. Knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Mechatronics engineering or related majors;

• Have basic knowledge of engineering in general and electricity/electronics/mechanics in particular;

• Know how to design and assemble various types of integrated boxes such as power supply, power distribution, and control boxes...

• Ability to read and understand ME/EE drawings, data sheets, and specifications. of ingredients;

2. Experience and skills:

• Positive and proactive thinking;

• Team spirit and working under pressure;

• Time management and work control skills;

• Good communication: Exchange and resolve information effectively via email/meeting/report/presentation;

• Intermediate level of English or higher;

• Can work via email and communicate with customers in meetings;

• Able to use 2D/3D ME software such as Auto Cad, Solidworks, Creo

• Basic MS Office level. MS Outlook and MS Excel are more important;

• Experience in cable design/box design/electrical and electronic components is preferred

• Prefer female or engineer with 1-year experience.

• Hand on industrial experience with professional engineering processes such as ECO is a plus
