Take this opportunity to play a meaningful role and help to set up & run the new world-class moulding operations in LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam and thereby support the LEGO strategy to reach out to more children around the world.
* This role will be working temporarily at LEGO temporary office in District 1, HCMC (shuttle bus is provided from Bien Hoa, Binh Duong to the office) and be relocated to Binh Duong in 2024.

Core Responsibilities:
• Lead Moulding Department to meet Health & Safety, Quality, Delivery performance with cost effectiveness;
• Be a key player of global Moulding team to drive the moulding standardization, moulding capacity and capability;
• Be a member of LMV Leadership team and contribute towards effective functioning of LMV through collaboration with other functions;
• Heading up Moulding Operations including Moulding Production, Mould Maintenance (include Mould Repair, Mould Maintenance, MRO, Tool-shop/CMS area), Machine Maintenance, MPE&E; Secure that tasks handled in LMV moulding are done within the agreed frames;
• Manage Moulding Leadership Team and take final decisions within the area of responsibility of LMV moulding;
• Supporting global capacity and capability building and ramp up plan;
• Create development plans for both organization and individuals within the organization. Secure necessary competencies in LMV moulding;
• Carry out formal and informal performance evaluations periodically, and guide all the necessary development activities;
• Establish a recurring basis program for continuous improvement and LEAN approach;
• Demonstrate LEGO Leadership and corporate values;
• Facilitate collaborations among Plant Functions;
• Bridge between LEGO and local culture; and apply LEGO processes under local context;
• Be open minded to embrace LEGO leadership principles and corporate ideologies;
• Accomplish other tasks assigned by manager.

The moulding department is comprised of a small team of welltrained professionals who manage the state-of-the-art fleets of machineries which produce the bricks at high efficiency and quality.
As the head of the moulding department in LMV, you will report to the Vice President of manufacturing and play a key role in driving the end to end performance of your department.
Your contributions in this critically important start up phase is crucial to the success of our mission to establish a brand new organization within an impressively short period.

• Possess knowledge in moulding related technologies with proven management experience in modern and sizable moulding operations;
• Demonstrated leadership as well as ability to influence, develop, coach, and provide support effectively, also in a matrix environment – working with large cross-functional, cross-cultural and multifaceted teams;
• Good command in written & conversational English and Vietnamese.
* Nice to have:
• Familiar with tooling and metal machining technologies;
• Down stream plastic processing techniques, example: decoration & assembly of plastic parts;
• Ability to adapt to new cultures and new ways of working;
• Prior experience in setting up a similar scale moulding factory is considered highly advantageous
