National Contract Logistics Distribution Vendor Management Specialist

You will be part of our Contract Logistics team, adding your knowledge + perspective to the delivery of customer + operational excellence.

Your primary objective will be to deliver against our distribution strategy by ensuring that vendor management is a priority + key factor in gaining + retaining customers. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives:

• To manage vendor sourcing deals, contracts, delivery + quality for a complete procurement cycle, ensuring that commercial + cost saving benefits are realized at the P+L level, also ensuring on time delivery with suppliers.

• To evaluate supplier core competencies + competitive positioning using industry cost models.

• To develop a negotiation strategy that delivers against business objectives + achieves sustainable relationships with suppliers.

• To review + approve a comprehensive list of suppliers for tender processes developed by analyzing the local market, understanding trends + competitive positioning in order to ensure the best possible supply base.

• To take action to reduce costs, focusing on creating greater efficiencies, economies of scale or a greater quality of resources.

• Bachelor’s Diploma/Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Business, or other related fields.

• Minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience in vendor management in logistics industry, and be able to maintain strategic relationships/ partnership with logistics vendors.

• Good project management and problem-solving skills. Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Action-oriented and can-do attitude.

• Fluent local Vietnamese language. Good command of English.
