Tetra Tech (tetratech.com) is implementing the five-year Architect & Engineering Services II Dioxin Remediation at Bien Hoa Airbase Area Project. The aim of the project is to remediate approximately 54 hectares and 500,000 m3 of contaminated soil and sediment on and around an active military base in Bien Hoa, Vietnam. The base was used by the US military during the Vietnam war and received up to 85% of the agent orange and other herbicides used during the war. Tetra Tech is providing A&E services such as planning, design development, construction quality assurance and oversight, environmental monitoring and sampling, capacity strengthening and community outreach, and other support.
