BIGL Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Broadway Industrial Group Limited (“BIGL”), a manufacturer of precision-machined components offering an excellent mix of cost-efficient manufacturing facilities, state-of-the-art technologies, experienced management teams and innovative solutions to a global customer base. Listed on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited since 1994 (B69 / BRWY.SI), BIGL is one of the leaders in the manufacture of precision components and assemblies. Headquartered in Singapore, through BIGL Asia and its subsidiaries, the BIGL Group is a key provider of actuator arms, assemblies and another related parts mainly for the global hard disk drive (HDD) industry and has five manufacturing facilities in China, Thailand and Vietnam with a total built-up area of 83,000 sqm. In 2022, the BIGL Group expanded its manufacturing capacities and signed a joint venture agreement pursuant to which the parties have agreed to, inter alia, incorporate a subsidiary in Vietnam (BIGL Vietnam Co., Ltd) to manufacture and sell a broader range of parts and components to a wider range of manufacturers of high-tech products including but not limited to wireless telecommunication products. Our Vietnam factory comprises two operations – machining and diecasting. In May 2023, our machining operations commenced ahead of schedule, following the rapid execution of the incorporation of the entity and the renovation of the factory. We recorded our maiden revenue from our PE business in June 2023 and completed the installation of our diecasting equipment in September 2023. BIGL Vietnam has completed our key customer qualification and became fully operational in the fourth quarter of 2023, with incremental revenue contribution from the diecasting operations in the first half of 2024.
