Job Summary
Gardenline has a successful 30 years operating history, commencing in 1992 as a modest import and distribution operation to become one of the leading exporters of outdoor furniture. We are seeking a Shipping Officer who is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the shipping process, ensuring that goods are packed, documented, and transported efficiently and in compliance with company policies and international shipping regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various stakeholders, including suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams..
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
• Receive report detail export plan from CS Team.
• Get booking from Forwarders/ Carriers.
• Send booking to factory and update if any changes.
• Work with factory/purchasing team and update the shipping schedule to ensure the sustainable order shipping schedule.
• Submit Shipping Instruction/ Verified Gross Mass on time.
• Ensure all shipping document submitted timely to customers and other parties.
• Take care and push local charge fee to supplier to avoid delay payment.
• Monitor and release goods to customers on time, avoiding delays that may incur DEM/DET charges.
• Ensure all shipping document is well managed in shared folder and arranged for FSC audit requirements.
• Closely interact Third Party Logistics/Forwarder/Factories and law to update changes and impacts to company’s exports.
• Others task and duties from time to time from management which is not stated on above.
Candidates with experience doing customs declarations will be given priority

Knowledge, Education, Training
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
Experience
At least 02 years of experience in Import & Export Position.
Soft Skills/Behavioural Requirements:
• Fluency in both verbal and written English
• Good at Microsoft Office software
• Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of shipping procedures, international trade regulations, and customs documentation.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and import/export regulations is a plus.
